Bringing high-quality theatre to Warminster and the local community!

Established in 2000 from the original Athenaeum Players, we specialise in musical theatre and drama for members of all ages, new and old.

 

The Masqueraders include youth and adult members from all walks of life in Warminster and the surrounding area producing between two - three shows each year of which our shows include musicals, plays and cabaret performances.

In 2018 The Management Committee expanded the remit of the Athenaeum Masqueraders Youth group founding the first Youth committee in which greater autonomy on some decisions could be made by the committee around fundraising, general youth operations and events as well as contributing towards production decisions.

​

Operating an ‘Everyone Welcome’ policy, anyone who shows a desire to succeed, learn, develop and improve will be given all the support available during rehearsals, productions and workshops offered by The Athenaeum Masqueraders.

Our usual rehearsal times are

Mondays, Wednesdays:          7.30 - 10.00pm for adult productions

                                                  7.00 - 9.30pm for junior productions

Sundays:                                   2.30-6.30pm.

Depending on roles within productions, cast members attendance to these rehearsals may vary. As show week approaches, rehearsal times and frequencies may vary.
